Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

1 cup Flour
3/4 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Nutmeg
3/4 cup Shortening
1 1/3 cups Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla
2 cups Oatmeal
1 cup Chocolate Chips
1/2 cup Pecans -- chopped

Method:

- Sift together first 5 ingredients in mixing bowl. Add shortening, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla and beat until smooth. Stir in oatmeal, chocolate chips and pecans.
- Drop onto greased baking pan and bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes
