Caramel Topping

Ingredients:1/3 cup Light Corn Syrup
2/3 cup Brown Sugar
1/8 tsp Salt
1/3 cup Heavy Cream
1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Method:- Combine first three ingredients in a heavy saucepan. Cook over a medium heat, stirring occasionally, until mixture comes to a boil and all of the sugar is dissolved.
- Remove from heat and cool slightly, just until the mixture begins to thicken. Slowly whisk in the cream until blended. Stir in vanilla, mix well. Let cool completely.
